Niall O'Kane

Managing Director | BSc (Hons) Mech

Niall is the managing director and founder of Carnehill Contracting, formerly Carnehill Building Services Ltd.  Since 2003, Niall has developed Carnehill Contracting into a trusted contractor delivering successful projects. Niall has overseen its growth to a multi-million and multi-disciplined organisation.

Niall is responsible for the overall strategic management of the company. He still maintains a hands on approach to all building projects, carrying out frequent site visits.

In 2018 Niall further diversified the business by establishing a large state-of-the-art joinery workshop in Scotstown, Co.Monaghan.  Fully equipped to manufacture; kitchens, doors, stairs, office fit-outs, acoustic paneling and more, all for contract clients.

Tommy Coleman

Estimator | BSc (Hons) QS and Commercial Management

Tommy graduated from Limerick Institute of technology with an Honours degree in Construction Economics and Management in 2004. Prior to this he completed a certificate in construction studies and a diploma in Construction Economics in Waterford institute of technology.  

Since completing his degree Tommy has gained invaluable experience in the construction sector working with some of Ireland's largest building contractors working on projects in all construction sectors. He has worked as project quantity surveyor on large scale office developments including the new Department of the environment offices and the new Wexford Co. Co offices. He also worked on a number of school projects gaining a good working knowledge of the new government form of contract.
Tommy joined Carnehill in 2012 as an estimator and is key member of our construction team involved in the preparation and submission of tenders.

Mark Daly 

Quantity Surveyor | BSc (Hons) QS and Commercial Management

Mark graduated from Glamorgan University with an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying in 2004.
During his time in the construction industry Mark has worked with some of Irelands leading contractors on contracts varying in value from €2m to €100m.  Mark has experience in the retail, education and commercial sectors and has worked on numerous prestigious project including Kildare Civic office, Eircom Head Quarters, and numerous first class education buildings.

Mark joined Carnehill in 2012 as a quantity surveyor and is a key member of our commercial team. Mark is responsible for overseeing the financial function within Carnehill and his duties include subcontractor/ supplier accounts and client valuations.


Mark Burke

Quantity Surveyor | BSc (Hons) QS and Commercial Management

Mark joined Carnehill in 2018 as a Quantity Surveyor, playing a key role in our commercial team.
 
Mark graduated from Glamorgan University with an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying in 2004. He has worked for some of Irelands Leading contractors such as G&T Crampton, Sisk, Walls, Duggan Bros. Following on from that, Mark has 10 years’ experience as a qualified carpenter/joiner working in both the private and commercial sector, on some remarkable buildings such as Dun-Laoighre Library, Slane Castle Distillery, The Four Courts, DCU College and Microsoft Offices to name a few.

Tim O'Brien 

Purchasing Manager

Tim has a Certificate in Electronic Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology in 2002.
Since completing his Certificate he has worked in the Retail / Construction Industry as a Trade Counter Manager, duties which include Kitchen / Wardrobe Design, Joinery, Furniture & Building products sales. Tim has gained a lot of experience in the Construction Industry for more than a decade.
Tim Joined Carnehill in 2016 as Purchasing Manager, duties which include dealing with suppliers (both new and existing) along with subcontractor / supplier accounts.


Marilia Alves

Accounts

Marilia graduated from Anhanguera Educacional in Brazil with an Honours Level 8 Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 2010.
Since completing her degree Marilia has gained invaluable experience over 10 years’ experience in various administrative roles. She has worked for some large Companies in Brazil. Following on from this with a bilingual skill she had developed her overall business skill set in Ireland over the past 4 years’ in her accounts role.  
Marilia joined Carnehill in 2019. She is responsible for overseeing the Accounts function and her duties include Payroll, Revenue returns, Accounts payable and Managing the Office activities based in Naas, Kildare.

Kevin
Bennett

Senior Site Manager
Kevin has been with Carnehill Contracting since the company was first established in 2003 and has a very unique and effective managerial approach that can not be taught. Kevin has been in-charge of many of our larger projects including Lidl Headquarters Tallaght and NCR Apartments Dublin. 

Kenneth
Ryan

Site Manager 
Kenneth started working with Carnehill on the St Lukes Hospital project in his beloved Co Kilkenny in 2014 . Since then Kenneth has worked as Site Manager on many Carnehill projects.

Gary Gouldsbury

Site Manager 
Gary started working with Carnehill Contracting in March 2015. Gary has been involved in many projects including Northern Cross Nursing Home, 
Gealscoil Balbriggan
BMS Manufacturing,
Clayton Hotel Dublin airport
NTMA headquarters


Colin Tinnelly

Site Manager 
Colin began employment with Carnehill Contracting in 2012 as a carpenter. Colin has become a valuable member of our site management team and has managed numerous school projects in Cork, Galway and Dublin.




David Buliga 

Site Manager 
With an experience of 12 years in the construction industry, David is a key member of our construction management team. David has excellent organizational skills and inter-personal skills witch applies coordinating subcontractors, delivery’s, client meetings, design team meetings and suppliers. David has worked as Site Manager on many Carnehill projects.
